Welcome to Mochi

Set up and run Mochi - your AI-powered Instagram DM sales platform.

Welcome to Mochi

Mochi turns your Instagram DM inbox into a managed, tracked sales operation. Instead of juggling the native app, your whole team works every lead in one place — with pipeline stages, tags, templates, voice notes, automations, and an AI setter that sounds like you, all wired to dashboards that show exactly where deals are won and lost.

This help center walks you through everything, in the order you'll set it up. Every guide covers both the web app (best for managers) and the iOS app (best for setters), and tells you which role can do what.

New to Mochi? Follow this path: Connect your account & Instagram → bring in your team → learn the inbox → set up the AI → turn on automations → connect your tools → read your numbers.

🚀 Getting Started

Create your account, connect Instagram the right way, and learn the one Instagram rule that shapes every feature. Start here before anything else.

• What Mochi is & how to get around — what Mochi does, and a tour of every area on web and iOS.

• Create your account & organization — sign up, the magic login link, your organization, and your access code.

• Connect your Instagram — the Business/Creator requirement, permissions, and what syncs (and what doesn't).

• Your first days: going live — the recommended sequence from first connection to putting setters live.

👥 Team & Leads

Bring your team in, decide who gets which leads, keep personal contacts out of the inbox, and work the pipeline.

• Invite your team & roles — add teammates, understand each role, and set commissions.

• Lead distribution — split incoming leads across your setters by percentage.

• Exclude personal contacts & mutuals — keep friends, partners, and mutuals out of the setter inbox.

• The Leads page — the pipeline table: stages, sorting, filtering, bulk actions, and CSV export.

💬 Inbox & Messaging

The heart of Mochi — where your team works every Instagram DM, with tags, templates, media, voice notes, and AI help right beside each conversation.

• The Inbox — threads, filter tabs, shared read status, ghost mode, and AI summaries.

• Lead profiles & timeline — everything about a lead: summary, internal notes, and full history.

• Change a lead's stage — move leads through the funnel manually.

• Tags & inbox categories — label leads and build focused inbox views.

• Slash commands & message templates — insert saved scripts, links, and media by typing /.

• Send images, videos, GIFs & files — attach and reuse media in your DMs.

• Voice notes — send personalized voice notes in your cloned voice.

• AI reply suggestions — AI-drafted replies you can send, edit, or ignore.

🤖 AI Setup & Intelligence

Teach Mochi's AI to sound like you and qualify like your best setter. The playbook, tags, summaries, spam filter, away mode, and voice cloning all live under Settings → Intelligence.

• Set up your AI: Setter Playbook & Creator DNA — the AI setup wizard, step by step, plus your playbook.

• AI tags — auto-tag leads by intent using plain-language prompts.

• Lead Summary — customize what the AI pulls out of every conversation.

• Spam filter — automatically clear junk before it reaches the inbox.

• AI Setter: Away Mode & AI Mode — let AI cover you, or run its own share of leads.

• Training Center — review and correct the AI's judgment so it improves.

• Voice cloning (ElevenLabs) — clone your voice to send voice notes at scale.

⚡ Automations & Follow-ups

Capture leads the moment they raise their hand, and never let a hot one go cold.

• Keyword & comment-to-DM automations — auto-reply to DMs, comments, and story replies.

• AI follow-up rules — automatically follow up when leads go quiet or don't click.
