# Claude MCP

## Mochi + Claude (MCP)

**What it is** — Connect Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, to your Mochi data so you can ask natural-language questions about your business — setter performance, objections, response times, funnel health — and get answers pulled straight from your organization's real numbers. Senna's own framing from onboarding calls: connecting it is "like your AI sales manager."

**Who can use it** — Built and tested for **Claude** specifically — web, desktop, and mobile. Other MCP-compatible clients haven't been tested by the Mochi team, so don't assume the same experience elsewhere; stick to Claude for a supported setup. Reading payment-related data (revenue, clients, transactions, costs) through this connection follows the same gating as payments generally: Creator, Manager, where that role is present on your account.

**Before you start** — A Claude account (free or paid — see the tip below on usage limits).

### What you can ask

Because it's connected to your real data, you can ask things like:

* What's happening in my business this week?
* Which leads are hottest right now and need a follow-up today?
* What are our top objections this month, and how well are we handling them?
* Give me a performance report for the team this week.
* Show me our funnel and where the biggest drop-off is.

Instead of clicking through dashboards, you just ask, and Claude answers using your organization's real data. Connecting it during AI setup specifically can also surface sharper insight into objection patterns — what setters are running into and how well they're handling it — useful context while you're training your AI Setter.

### What it can see

Mochi gives Claude a large, read-only tool set spanning sales analytics and funnel metrics, messages and response times, leads and conversations, team performance, tracking links, payments, bookings, and account health — plus a natural-language query tool for anything that doesn't fit a specific category.

### Read-only, always

This connection can read and analyze your data, but it can't change anything — it won't send a message, update a lead, or take any action inside Mochi. If you ask it to message a lead, it will point you to where to do that inside the app instead.

### How to connect

1. Go to `themochi.app/mcp` while signed in to Mochi to get your connection details.
2. In Claude, add Mochi as a **custom connector** and follow the prompts using the details from that page.
3. Once connected, start asking questions from any Claude conversation.

### Tips

* On Claude's free tier, Anthropic's own usage limits can throttle how many questions you can ask in a stretch — that's a Claude account limit, not a Mochi one.
* Ask specific questions rather than very broad ones. Broad, open-ended questions are more likely to time out.
* Connecting it while you're setting up your AI Setter is a good time to ask about objection patterns specifically — a sharper, more setup-relevant use than general reporting.

### Common mistakes & fixes

| A Setter or Closer expects to see payment data through it               | Payment data is limited to Creator/Manager/Finance roles, same as elsewhere in Mochi. |

### Limits & good to know

* Read-only — this connection never writes back to Mochi.
* Shares its underlying data and tools with the in-app Mochi AI assistant (Ask Mochi) — if you already use Ask Mochi, this brings the same capability into Claude directly.
* Built and tested for Claude only; other MCP clients are unconfirmed.
