# Ask Mochi

## Mochi AI (Ask Mochi)

**What it is** — Mochi AI is the assistant built into Mochi that you chat with in plain English. Ask it about your DMs, leads, funnel, team performance, links, and payments, and it answers using your own organization's real data. It also helps you draft content ideas, reels plans, objection-handling scripts, follow-up plans, and weekly recaps.

**Who can use it** — Everyone on the team: coaches, setters, and closers can all use it. 

### How to use it

**Web:**

1. Open the **Inbox**.
2. Tap the **Ask Mochi** button in the conversation list — or press **Cmd+O** (Mac) / **Ctrl+O** (Windows) from anywhere in the app.
3. Type your question in plain English and send it.

**iOS:**

1. Tap the glowing **Mochi mascot** button next to the bottom tab bar — visible from tabs like Inbox and Dashboard. This opens the assistant full screen.
2. Type your question and send it.

This is a different feature from **AI Setter**, which works inside individual conversations. Mochi AI only answers questions about your data — it never messages a lead.

Behind the scenes, Ask Mochi runs on the same large, read-only tool set that powers the Mochi + Claude (MCP) connector — so if your team also queries Mochi data through Claude, the kinds of questions you can ask there and here overlap closely.

### Example questions to try

* "Which leads are hottest right now and need a follow-up today?"
* "What are our top objections this month, and how well are we handling them?"
* "Give me a performance report for the team this week."
* "Based on our DMs, give me 10 content ideas to attract more of this audience."
* "Show me our funnel and where the biggest drop-off is."

Mochi pulls the real numbers behind every answer — it never makes up figures. If something isn't tracked, it says so instead of guessing.

### Saved prompt library

The first time you open Mochi AI, you'll see starter prompts and a saved prompt library — Content Ideas, Objection Handling, Funnel Health, and more. Run any of them with one tap, then edit the wording to fit your business.

### Scheduled recipes

Save any prompt — a starter prompt, a library prompt, or one you wrote yourself — as a **recipe** that reruns automatically on a schedule: daily, weekly, or monthly. Share it with your team so everyone gets the same report without having to ask for it again.

### What Mochi AI can't do

Mochi AI is **read-only**. It can read and analyze your data, but it can't change anything, send messages, or take any action. If you ask it to message a lead, it points you to where you can do that yourself in the app.

### Tips

* Be specific. Very broad questions can time out — narrow the question ("this week," "for setter X," "in the Qualified stage") for a faster, sharper answer.
* Start from a saved prompt and edit it rather than writing from scratch every time.
* Set up a scheduled recipe for anything you'd otherwise ask every week, like a Monday funnel-health check.

### Common mistakes & fixes

| Asking Mochi AI to send a message or change a lead's stage | It can't — it's read-only. It tells you where to do that in the app instead.             |
| A Setter asks a payment question and gets no data          | Payment answers are limited to admin roles (Creator/Manager, and Finance where present). |
| Asking a very broad, open-ended question                   | It can time out. Be specific — add a date range, a person, or a stage.                   |

### Limits & good to know

* Read-only: it never sends, edits, or takes action — it only answers.
* Answers come only from your tracked data; it won't guess at what isn't there.
* Very broad questions can time out — be specific.
