# Home Dashboard

## The Home dashboard

**What it is** — The Home dashboard turns your Instagram sales activity into numbers: headline counts, a funnel breakdown, and an unqualified breakdown, all filterable by date range. It's the fastest way to see how your pipeline is doing without opening the Leads table or counting by hand.

**Who can use it** — Everyone on the team can open the Dashboard, but what you see depends on your role. Creators and Managers get an org-wide Home view covering the whole team. Setters and Closers get a Home view focused on their own work. Available on **Web** and **iOS**.

### How to use it

**Web:**

1. Open **Dashboard** in the sidebar.
2. Select **Home** — this is the default tab.

**iOS:**

1. Tap the **Dashboard** tab in the bottom bar.
2. Use the picker at the top and select **Overview**.

Both platforms show the same underlying view — web labels it "Home," iOS labels the same screen "Overview."

### What's on the Home dashboard

* **Headline counts** — new leads, qualified leads, booked calls, and won deals for your selected date range. The exact cards shift depending on whether you're viewing as a setter, closer, or admin.
* **Funnel / pipeline breakdown** — how many leads sit at, or moved through, each stage: New, In contact, Qualified, Booked call, Deposit, Won, Lost, No show.
* **Unqualified breakdown** — a closer look at your Unqualified leads. Since a lead marked Unqualified can carry a reason (financial objection, time waster, ghosted, and so on), this is where you spot whether one reason is doing most of the damage.
* **Date range** — every card responds to the date-range picker at the top of the page, so you can scope the whole view to a specific week, month, or custom period.

### Why your numbers might not match a hand count

This is the single most common point of confusion, so it's worth reading once.

> Every number on this dashboard is counted by the **date of the stage-change event**, not the date the lead was created. A lead created in January who doesn't book a call until February shows up as a New Lead in January's totals and a Booked Call in February's — each event lands in whichever month it actually happened, never both in the lead's original creation month.

The Home dashboard also doesn't count rows in your Leads table. Funnel and booked-call numbers are built from **stage-change events** that happened inside your date range, plus **current-stage snapshots** — not a raw tally of leads.

In practice, that means a lead who moved from Qualified to Booked call and back again inside your date range can show up in more than one stage-change count, and the dashboard's totals for a given range won't always match what you count by hand in the Leads table or Inbox. Treat the dashboard as your trend and health check, and the Leads table as your source of truth for any individual lead.

### Tips

* Check Home first thing each day — the funnel breakdown tells you where to focus before you open the inbox.
* Compare date ranges (this week vs. last week) instead of staring at a single snapshot; single-day numbers are noisy.
* If a number looks off, cross-check it against the Leads table for that specific lead rather than assuming the dashboard is wrong — remember the stage-change-event caveat above.
* Pair Home's funnel breakdown with the benchmarks in Benchmarks & diagnostics to know what "good" looks like at each stage.

### Common mistakes & fixes

| Mistake | Fix |
| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Expecting a lead's New Lead and Booked Call counts to land in the same month | They're counted by the date each stage change actually happened, not the lead's creation date — see above |
| Expecting the funnel breakdown to equal a hand count from the Leads table | Remember it's built from stage-change events plus snapshots, not row counts — see above |
| A setter or closer expects to see the same numbers as a Creator/Manager | Home is role-scoped — setters and closers see their own work, admins see the whole org |
| Assuming Links or Payments data lives on Home | Those are separate tabs on the Dashboard that only appear when enabled for your org — see Links analytics and The Payments dashboard |

### Limits & good to know

* Home is part of the wider Dashboard, which also includes **Performance** and — when enabled for your org — **Links** and **Payments** tabs.
* What you see is role-based; it isn't something you configure yourself.
