# Payments dashboard

## The Payments dashboard

**What it is** — When a payment provider is connected, the Payments tab on your Dashboard turns that data into revenue, client, transaction, and cost views.

**Who can use it** — Payment data is restricted to admins — the **Creator** and **Manager** roles.Everyone else — setters, closers, and any other role — won't see numbers here. Confirmed on **Web** (`Dashboard > Payments`); iOS availability is unconfirmed — see below.

**Before you start** — Connect a payment provider first: Stripe, Whop, FanBasis, or Ablefy. See Payment integrations for the connect flow — this article only covers reading the dashboard once payments are connected.

### How to use it

**Web:**

1. Open **Dashboard**.
2. Select **Payments** — this tab only appears once payments are enabled for your org.

### What the four views cover

Mochi organizes payment data into four areas:

* **Revenue** — money coming in from your connected provider(s).
* **Clients** — the people who've paid.
* **Transactions** — individual payment records.
* **Costs** — provider-side fees or expenses.

If you'd rather not click through tabs, ask Mochi AI a plain-English question like "What's our revenue this month?" instead — it draws on the same data, for the same admin roles (Creator/Manager, and Finance where present).

### Tips

* If the Payments tab is missing entirely, check two things: whether a payment provider is actually connected, and whether your role is Creator, Manager, or Finance (where present).
* Prefer asking Mochi AI a direct question over hunting through tabs when you just need one number.

### Common mistakes & fixes

| Mistake                                        | Fix                                                                                                   |
| ---------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A Setter or Closer can't find the Payments tab | It's role-gated to admins (Creator/Manager, and Finance where present) by design — not a bug.         |
| No data shows up at all                        | Confirm a payment provider is connected under **Settings > Integrations** — see Payment integrations. |

### Limits & good to know

* Role-gated to admins — Creator, Manager, and Finance where present — everyone else is excluded by design.
* Only appears on the Dashboard when enabled for your org.
* Connecting a provider (Stripe, Whop, FanBasis, Ablefy) and what syncs is covered in Payment integrations, not here.
