# Performance Dashboard

## The Performance dashboard

**What it is** — The Performance dashboard shows how your team is doing, member by member: messages sent, reply activity, booked calls, and similar activity, plus org-wide message stats over your chosen date range.

**Who can use it** — Creators and Managers get the full team Performance view. Setters and Closers can open a **read-only** version on **Web**. On **iOS**, the Performance tab is shown to admins (Creator/Manager) only — setters and closers won't see it there.

### How to use it

**Web:**

1. Open **Dashboard** in the sidebar.
2. Select **Performance**.
3. Filter to a subset of members if you want to narrow the view.

**iOS (Creator/Manager only):**

1. Tap the **Dashboard** tab in the bottom bar.
2. Use the picker at the top and select **Performance**.

### What's on the Performance dashboard

* **Per-member rows** — one row per setter, closer, or member, showing messages, reply activity, booked calls, potential earnings, and similar activity metrics for your date range.
* **Org-wide message stats** — total messaging activity across the whole org over the same range.
* **Member filtering** — narrow the view down to specific people when you only want to check one or two setters.
* **Date range** — like Home, the view responds to a date-range picker; the default **This week** option runs **Monday–Sunday** and isn't adjustable to a different start day.

### Potential earnings

Each member's row includes a **potential earnings** figure. It's calculated from payments already **logged or pending** in Mochi — synced from a connected payment provider, or manually logged on a lead — combined with that member's commission %. It is **not** an AI estimate of how big an in-flight deal might turn out to be: if a deal hasn't been logged as paid or pending anywhere in the system, it doesn't factor into the number.

Earnings display on Performance is **percentage-only** — you'll see a member's commission rate, not a converted dollar figure. There's currently no toggle to switch the display to a dollar amount.

### Response time: why it can look high

Setter response time is one of the per-member metrics here — see Benchmarks & diagnostics for healthy targets. The calculation has historically counted **overnight hours** — the hours a setter is asleep and not expected to be responding — which can make the average look alarmingly high even for a fast-replying setter. If your team works normal daytime hours and still sees a multi-hour average, this is the likely reason, not a slow team.

### Tips

* Filter to one member at a time when you want to hold an individual setter accountable to their own numbers, rather than comparing everyone in one crowded view.
* Use Performance alongside the funnel breakdown on The Home dashboard — Home tells you *where* the pipeline is stuck, Performance tells you *who* is or isn't moving it.
* If today's numbers look low, give it a few minutes and refresh before assuming something's broken — see the freshness note below.
* Don't assume a high average response time means setters are slow — check whether it's counting overnight hours before reacting.

### Common mistakes & fixes

| Mistake | Fix |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A setter or closer looks for Performance on iOS and can't find it | It's admin-only on iOS (Creator/Manager). On web, setters and closers can still open a read-only version. |
| Filtering by a member and getting an empty or wrong-looking view | Member filtering doesn't validate — an outdated or mistyped member ID is silently dropped instead of showing an error. Reselect from the current member list. |
| Expecting today's activity to be fully up to date | Performance is cached for a few minutes, so very recent activity can lag slightly. Refresh after a moment. |
| Pulling org message stats over a multi-year range | Date ranges for org message stats are bounded to about a year; very wide ranges are rejected — narrow the range. |
| Expecting earnings to show as a dollar amount | Setter earnings display is percentage-only — there's no dollar toggle. |
| Assuming a several-hour average response time means setters are ignoring leads | The calculation has historically included overnight hours — see the response-time note above. |

### Limits & good to know

* Freshness lag: Performance views are cached for a few minutes, so today's numbers can trail live activity briefly.
* Org message stats accept a date range up to about a year.
* Setters and closers get read-only Performance on web; on iOS, Performance is admin-only.
* The same stage-change-event math used on Home applies to booked-call numbers here too — see The Home dashboard for what that means.
* Potential earnings reflect logged/pending payments only — never an AI guess at deal size.
* Setter earnings display is percentage-only; there's no dollar-amount toggle.
* The default **This week** filter runs Monday–Sunday and isn't user-adjustable.
